Lloret de Mar beaches: map, photos and description

Lloret de Mar is one of the most popular resort towns in Spain, it is called the second Ibiza. The beach season lasts from May until the end of October, and on a sunny day some people sunbathe in November as well.

There are four main beaches in Lloret: Playa Lloret, Playa Fenals, Cala Canyelles and Sa Boadella. On all the beaches of Lloret women sunbathe topless, mostly Spanish women.

Lloret de Mar Central Beach (Playa Lloret)

The largest beach in the city is 1.5 kilometers long and is located in the heart of Lloret. Sandy sand, clear sea, promenade and always a lot of vacationers, both visitors and locals. The beach is quite noisy.

There is a wide choice of sea, sports activities, you can rent a small boat or yacht. Near the beach is a large central promenade with restaurants, bars. Walking about 200 meters, you can get into the streets with stores: from groceries to souvenir stores and boutiques. The Castell d’en Plaja castle is also nearby.

  • Entrance is free of charge. Umbrellas and sunbeds 20 € per day.
  • Infrastructure: rescue service, free toilets, showers, ramps, changing tables.

Fenals (Playa Fenals)

This beach is 700 meters long and is surrounded by small rocks and pine trees. It is quite quiet and not as crowded as the other beaches. There are banana boats, catamarans and parachute rides. On weekends on the shore dancing zumba. Not far from the beach is a fenced area for walking dogs. The beach is clean and the Jardines do Santa Clotilde are a nearby attraction.

Cala Canyelles (Cala Canyelles)

The beach is almost 500 meters long and is located on the outskirts of the city. The shore is covered with pebble sand. The water is clear and transparent. The beach is surrounded by rocks on which villas are built. You can also see wild black ducks that swim and bask on the rocks near the shore. From water entertainment banana, inflatable pillows. The beach is clean enough.

Sa Boadella (Sa Boadella)

This beach is quite small, only 250 meters. It is located near Fenals and very close to the Gardens of St. Clotilde. The beach is surrounded by dense trees and pine trees. It is very quiet, the beach is officially nudist, at the entrance there is a poster with the inscription «Naturism tradition beach», but everyone can sunbathe here. There is no water entertainment on this beach. The water is very clean and transparent.
