In 2019, the Ferenc Liszt Airport became the best airport in Eastern Europe. The air harbor serves 43 airlines and is home to the Hungarian low-cost low-cost low-cost airline Wizz Air with flights across Europe. The international airport code is BUD.
Navigation around the airport is simple and intuitive. Since 2012, all airplanes are served by Terminal 2, while Terminal 1 is closed. The building has everything you need to spend a few hours in comfort: stores, a food court and souvenir stores, a comfortable rest area and restrooms.
Terminal No. 2 consists of two subterminals:
- 2A — for intra-Schengen flights;
- 2B — for international and some Schengen flights.
Some low-cost carriers do not write the departure terminal on the ticket. In this case, a yellow sign in front of the entrance will tell you which terminal is your airline’s check-in terminal.
